BOOK DESIGN BY LAURA PARKER
I am the Art Director of Paul Holberton Publishing, a specialist art publishers based in London. I oversee all stages of a client's project, including costing, design, editorial, prepress, colour proofing and final press pass. I have produced art books and exhibition catalogues for museums, galleries and art dealers across the UK, Europe and the States – the Royal Collection, the Courtauld Gallery and the Frick Collection, to name a few. I aim to produce books of the highest quality, for which typefaces and paper are carefully chosen to reflect subject-matter, and in which colour fidelity is paramount.
I have a History BA from Oxford and an MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute in London, where I specialized in the Venetian Renaissance.
